• Modifiers: Utilize CPT billing codes with appropriate modifiers:

  • A1 – One wound

  • A2 – Two wounds (set quantity to 60)

  • A3 – Three wounds (set quantity to 90)

• Note: The wound cleanser is not reimbursable.

• Important: When billing for in-office wound debridement, the wound care kit cannot be billed on the same day. Wound care package billing starts the day after debridement.
